B. G. Bews is a retired teacher who always loved reading stories to her students. Before her teaching career, she worked in the service industry, retail, an accounting office, and a photo studio. An enthusiastic photographer herself, she has taken photos on her extensive world travels, which stem from a lifelong adventurous spirit. The Summerville Kids series draws from her early memories exploring nature in British Columbia. B. G. lives in Penticton, B.C., with her husband, Mike, and their Dalmatian, Molly.
